Heat Shrink Tubing Overview

See the differences between single wall, dual wall, and heavy dual wall heat shrink tubing. View all of Kimball Midwest's heat shrink tubing option on our Storefront: http://bit.ly/2DDSrfy

**Single Wall Heat Shrink Tubing -

• CROSS-LINK POLYOLEFIN - Excellent dielectric strength, strain relief and abrasion resistance.

• CLEAR TUBING - Enables complete inspection of the connection.

• FLAME RETARDANT - Does not support combustion and is self extinguishing.

• HIGH DIELECTRIC - 600 volts/mil dielectric.

• CHEMICAL RESISTANT - Resists most common fluids and solvents.

• 2:1 SHRINK RATIO - Conforms quickly to the contours of the applied surface.

• SINGLE WALL - No meltable liner. Does not bond to wiring and allows removal if needed.

MEETS SPECIFICATIONS:
Shrink temperature:120°C.
Continuous operating range -67°F to 230°F.
Tensile Strength 2200 P.S.I.

**Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing -

• Flexible tubing absorbs bending stress and vibration.

• Therma-Flow meltable inner wall sealant bonds tubing to wire and cable for a weatherproof seal and prevents vibration and flexing from pulling tubing away from cable and opening the seal. Provides excellent strain relief and protection.

• 3 to 1 shrink ratio - one size covers multiple wire ranges.

• Flame resistant, waterproof and resists hydraulic fluid, oil and chemicals. Therma-Flow Sealant bonds tubing to the wire and terminal, sealing the connection.

**Heavy Dual Wall Heat Shrink Tubing -

• Extra thick wall design provides maximum abrasion, vibration & stress resistance in heavy duty applications.

• Therma-Flow meltable inner wall sealant bonds tubing to wire and cable for a weatherproof, completely sealed connection.
Ideal for over-the-road trucks, heavy duty equipment, agricultural equipment and all demanding applications.

• Provides superior strain relief and protection.

• 3 to 1 shrink ratio - one size covers multiple wire ranges.
